This ended up being the piece that made the room make sense visually, and it makes sense in the bedroom without taking over. It was not an instant yes for me, but after living with it for a bit I appreciate it more.

I like it more now that it has been part of our routine for a while, and that feels especially right in the breakfast nook. A couple of guests have mentioned it without being prompted, which is a good sign that it has presence without being loud. It looks considered from different parts of the room, not just from one angle. This pendant gave the breakfast nook the focal point it was missing without making the rest of the room feel secondary.

This pendant feels less like decor now and more like something that simply belongs in the room, and that is more important to me than a trendier look. I noticed the glass more once it was in the room, but the overall balance is what I ended up appreciating most.
