I tried it in two different spots before settling on this one, and the second placement made much more sense, which has made the room easier to enjoy day to day.

I noticed the glass more once it was in the room, but the overall balance is what I ended up appreciating most, which has made the room easier to enjoy day to day. It settled into ordinary weekdays faster than I expected and no longer feels like a new purchase. The light feels integrated with the room rather than like a separate effect. I am happy with where the room landed.

The glass is a nice detail in person without becoming the only reason the piece works, which gives the room enough change without overdoing it. My family likes the room more now, and I think this table lamp is part of why it feels more complete.

This table lamp gives the space some character without turning it into a theme, which is why it does not feel like a short-term choice. The biggest change is how much more settled the home office feels with this table lamp in place. I like it more now than I did on the first day.
