The room reads differently now, and this floor lamp is the main reason without looking like it is trying too hard; the result feels natural.

This is one of those pieces I appreciate more during ordinary days than I did when it first arrived, and the rest of the room still gets to breathe. The space feels less generic with this floor lamp, but it still looks like our home.

I like it more now that it has been part of our routine for a while, and that mattered more to me than making a dramatic statement. At night, the room has more depth and feels much less flat than it did before. I do like the wood detail up close, but what matters more is how naturally the whole floor lamp works in the room.
