I do like the wood detail up close, but what matters more is how naturally the whole floor lamp works in the room, and that has made a bigger difference than I expected. The room feels easier on the eyes in the evening, and I like that the effect is subtle.

The fabric is a nice detail in person without becoming the only reason the piece works, which has made the living room feel more complete. The biggest change is how much more pulled together the living room feels with this floor lamp in place.

This was easier to blend into the room than I expected, and that feels especially right in the living room. I went back and forth on this floor lamp before ordering, but it made much more sense once I saw it in the room.
