After the first few days, I stopped thinking about where it came from and just started enjoying having it in our kitchen. I noticed the travertine more once it was in the room, but the overall balance is what I ended up appreciating most. I had a very specific picture in my head for the kitchen, and this came closer to it than the other options I considered. It gave the room the lift I was hoping for.
