Living with it has been easy; it adds something to the room without asking for attention every time I walk in, and I like that it works without needing a lot of explanation. The proportions feel visually balanced with the rest of the room, which was one of my biggest concerns.

The space feels less generic with this floor lamp, but it still looks like our home.
