Once this wall light was in place, the room stopped feeling like it still needed one more thing, which gives the room enough change without overdoing it.

There is a better sense of balance in our living room now; nothing else had to change for it to work. It pairs easily with what we already own instead of making the older pieces look out of place.

This was easier to blend into the room than I expected, and that feels especially right in the powder room. The room still feels relaxed and usable, which mattered to me more than having a dramatic statement piece. After the first few days, I stopped thinking about where it came from and just started enjoying having it in our powder room. This ended up being the piece that made the room make sense visually. I would make the same choice again.
