A Vadim wall lamp — a tall vertical wall sconce with a clear glass cylinder shade housing a perforated metal cage. When lit, the cage projects graphic patterned shadows onto surrounding walls. Two dramatic long-drop sizes (51.2″ and 66.9″) × two body finishes (Black, Gold). E26/E27 bulb base. Hardwired install. Suited to stairwells, two-story foyers, above headboards, and contemporary interiors with tall walls.

Installation Notes

Hardwired wall mount — junction box required at the top of the fixture. Licensed electrician recommended.
Place with 6–10″ clearance from any perpendicular wall so the cage projection has space to display on the primary wall surface.
For Tall (66.9″) size, verify wall stud alignment — mount to a stud with the appropriate anchor if drywall-only.

It changed the nighttime feel of the room more than I expected from a single fixture, which is the balance I was hoping for. I did not have to change the surrounding decor for this to feel at home. I do like the glass detail up close, but what matters more is how naturally the whole wall light works in the room.

I thought this might be one of those pieces I liked more online than at home, but the opposite happened, which is why I am still happy with it. I keep appreciating it in small moments rather than only when I am deliberately looking at it. The room feels easier on the eyes in the evening, and I like that the effect is subtle. It ended up being one of the better decisions in the room.

This is one of those pieces I appreciate more during ordinary days than I did when it first arrived, and I like that the change feels subtle. What I like most is that the powder room feels more intentional without looking overworked.
