Please Note: Because the bottom is open, the internal hardware and bulbs (the "guts" of the light) will be visible if you are looking directly up at the fixture from below.

It gives the room a more edited look without making it feel formal, and it makes sense in the home office without taking over. This ceiling light gave the home office the focal point it was missing without making the rest of the room feel secondary. It has been easy to live with, which is exactly what I wanted.

I had a very specific picture in my head for the hallway, and this came closer to it than the other options I considered. It pulled the hallway together in a way that feels natural rather than styled for a photo. This was easier to blend into the room than I expected.

I notice this ceiling light most during weekend time at home, which is probably why it already feels like part of the room. The biggest change is how much more considered the hallway feels with this ceiling light in place.
