About the black travertine — genuine natural stone with a matte black surface finish

The half-dome shade of this ceiling light is made from genuine travertine stone. To create a deep, even black aesthetic, the stone surface is finished with a matte black coating — rather than left in its natural off-white state. This is an intentional design choice: the weight, density, and natural pore structure of genuine travertine are preserved, while the surface colour is controlled. The pores and rugged surface visible in each piece are authentic expressions of the stone — this is exactly as it was designed to be.

Natural travertine — formed by geological processes

Travertine is formed in the natural environment through thousands of years of complex physical and chemical processes. Even beneath the black surface, the pore distribution and stone characteristics of each piece remain entirely unique.

Returns may be requested within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, uninstalled, and returned in its original condition and packaging with proof of purchase.

If your lighting arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible. If the issue is confirmed to be our responsibility, we will work with you to resolve it and provide a prepaid return label when a return is required.

Once an approved return has been received and inspected, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
