I expected a visual upgrade; I did not expect the whole room to feel calmer, which has made the kitchen feel more complete. I do like the wood detail up close, but what matters more is how naturally the whole pendant works in the room. The overall glow is what won me over; it makes the room feel comfortable without calling attention to itself.

The design reads clearly, but it does not overpower the furniture around it, without making the space feel overly styled. It looked interesting online, but the room is where the design really makes sense. After the first few days, I stopped thinking about where it came from and just started enjoying having it in our bedroom. I like it more now than I did on the first day. This was one of the last decisions for the room, and it ended up having more impact than several of the bigger purchases.

I notice the difference most once the daylight fades and the room starts to feel quieter, and that has held up beyond the first few days. It fits our routine well and makes the room feel a little more cared for. I had a very specific picture in my head for the kitchen, and this came closer to it than the other options I considered. It gave the room the lift I was hoping for.
