Kara Used this fixture to replace the ceiling fan in the kitchen. Originally, it was going to be replaced by another fan, but after removing a useless cabinet, the socket for the light was no longer centered. This fixture allowed us to angle it throughout the room and hide the fact that it was not centered.My husband and I installed it in less than an hour with no disagreements so that was a big bonus. I did end up purchasing a larger canopy for it since the one provided didn't hide the hole in the ceiling. We swapped it out in about 30 minutes. Overall very happy with this purchase!!
