The room feels more warmer now, and this chandelier is a big part of that.

This ended up being the piece that made the room make sense visually, and that is exactly what the foyer needed. Living with it has been easy; it adds something to the room without asking for attention every time I walk in. The evening atmosphere was what I cared about most, and this chandelier moved the room in the right direction. I am glad I did not play it safer.

After the first few days, I stopped thinking about where it came from and just started enjoying having it in our foyer. This chandelier gives the space some character without turning it into a theme. The room feels easier on the eyes in the evening, and I like that the effect is subtle. For me, it was the right amount of change.
