Evenings in the room feel more finished now, which was exactly the change I wanted, and that has held up beyond the first few days.

It stands out a little more than I expected, but that ended up being a positive once the room came together, and it feels more settled every time I see it. This was part of the last round of decisions after our remodel, and I am glad I did not rush the choice. I am glad I did not play it safer.

The overall effect is subtle, but the entryway feels much more complete with this ceiling light there. From across the room, this ceiling light gives the space enough structure to feel complete.
