Once the whole setup came together, this has settled into the room really naturally in our home. The integrated light source keeps the overall look clean. The room feels more considered without feeling too formal.

From a practical point of view, it adds presence without making the room feel busy compared with what was there before. I especially like the way the metalwork detail reads in the room.

In the final arrangement, it ended up fitting the space better than I had pictured for our setup. The wall feels much more intentional now. It still catches my eye, but in a good way.

It is easy to install because it uses a ball-and-socket hanger system like a ceiling fan. This means you can hang it up to the ceiling and have both of your hands free to make the wire connection vs. other ceiling lights I've installed where you have to support the weight of the fixture while you wire it up.
