The room changes most at night because the breakfast nook feels calmer. The everyday test for me is simple: the pendant fits naturally into the way the breakfast nook functions. In person, the whole layout feels calmer with one clear point of interest. I was more cautious about this choice than usual, but the pendant feels much more natural in the room than it did on screen.
