The room benefits from the fact that the design feels distinctive but still easy to mix with what I already own. When the room is not styled for anything, I like that the piece feels useful and visually settled at the same time. When I turn the other lights down, the living room feels softer without losing definition. Compared with before, the room looks more resolved without feeling fuller. The glass is a nice detail, especially because the overall design still feels balanced.

With the room viewed as one composition, the dining room feels more intentional from more than one angle. In everyday use, the chandelier feels familiar in the room surprisingly quickly. The reason this feels easy to live with is that the chandelier adds a point of view without taking over the room.
