Now that I see it with the rest of the room, the table lamp gives the room structure without dominating it. I like that the table lamp feels useful and decorative at the same time. In the middle of an ordinary day, I notice the table lamp in passing more than I expected. At first I thought it might be too noticeable, and I am glad I did not switch to the safer option.

Seen in the actual room, the guest room feels more intentional from more than one angle. When the day slows down, the table lamp gives the room a more settled feel.
