With the entryway otherwise left alone, this choice makes the space feel more settled. I ordered it during a slow room update rather than a full redesign, and that was enough to change the mood.

With the living room otherwise left alone, the ceiling light feels calm enough for everyday life, which is what I wanted. It feels natural in the room now rather than like something we just added. This is one of those purchases I stopped thinking about once it was in place, in a good way. Most days I barely think about it, but the space feels better because it is there.

For a simple update, the ceiling light works with what we already owned surprisingly well, especially in the evening. The longer it is here, the more natural it feels. The alabaster is one of those details I appreciate when I am close to it, not something that dominates the room. The entryway feels more finished now, but not in an overdone way.

For the way we use the entryway, this ceiling light gives the space a stronger point of view. What I like most is how naturally it sits with the rest of the entryway. The light has become one of the things that makes the room feel settled at the end of the day.
