The Thessa Alabaster Cone Pendant Light hangs a natural alabaster cone from a slim downrod and a round canopy. A swivel joint above the shade lets it hang straight, and the open bottom sends light down while the stone glows with its veining in a soft 3000K tone. Let the bulb cool before handling the shade or changing the bulb.

The cone shape is distinctive enough to notice, but it still works with the rest of the room. From across the room, this pendant gives the space enough structure to feel complete.

Up close, the brass gives the design some depth, while the overall look still stays easy to live with, without forcing us to change everything around it. The overall glow is what won me over; it makes the room feel comfortable without calling attention to itself.
